A Japanese office worker is hit by a truck on her way home and opens her eyes as Iris Lana Armelia, the villainess of an otome game she had been playing hours earlier. She arrives at the exact moment Iris is sentenced to spend her life in a convent. Her memories of the game tell her how the scene is supposed to end, and she talks her way out of it. Impressed, her father, Duke Louis de Armelia, hands her the Armelia territory instead of her brother Bern, and Iris starts rebuilding the fief with ideas from her old world.
