Synopsis
Reisalin Stout — Ryza to her friends — lives a restless life on Kurken Island until a forbidden trip to the mainland brings her, Lent Marslink, and Tao Mongarten face-to-face with the alchemist Empel Vollmer and his bodyguard Lila Decyrus. Taking Ryza on as an apprentice, Empel opens the door to alchemy, and the group restores an abandoned cottage as their base to investigate the Philuscha — insectoid creatures threatening the region.
