Sakura Kinomoto starts junior high with Syaoran back from Hong Kong, then dreams of transparent cards shattering in front of her. She wakes to find every Sakura Card drained of power and an unfamiliar key in her hand. Transparent cards begin surfacing around Tomoeda, and Sakura sets out to catch them with Tomoyo and Kero beside her. This sequel picks up directly from the original Cardcaptor Sakura.
