Touka Aizuki freezes up and snaps whenever she tries to talk to Ryoutarou Mimori, the childhood friend she once drifted away from. After another day of failed attempts she goes to sleep wishing she could vanish — and wakes up invisible and inaudible to everyone in town. The one exception is Ryoutarou, who can still see and hear her perfectly but keeps quiet, knowing how mortified she would be to learn he has been watching the unguarded girl behind her brusque front.
