In a world built on the Nibelung legend, the hero Siegfried is assassinated and his sword passes to Lynn, a village girl who is possessed by his lingering spirit when raiders attack her home. Queen Brunhild takes an interest and invites her to the Rosengarten Schlacht, a tournament whose victor claims the treasure Siegfried left behind. Smitten with the queen, Lynn fights to prove herself worthy, while the ghost riding along inside her chases a relic in the prize that could bring him back.
