Ceres has spent years carrying the Hero's party when the arrogant Hero Zect abruptly casts him out. Alone and adrift, he wanders into an unusual slave market and finds Shizuko, the Hero's own mother, up for sale. Ceres has always had a thing for older women, and buying her freedom turns his dismissal into the start of something else: a party built entirely out of them.
