Kanan Takakiyo is the popular, athletic head of the discipline committee at Hounou Academy in Tama, and secretly a demon sent from the demon world to devour human souls. She marks an underclassman, Youji Kyougi, as her next meal, but Youji simply falls for her instead. Inexperienced with romance, Kanan finds herself charmed by his forwardness, and the two start dating, soon joined by her maid Ami and by Jeanne, sent from heaven to keep Youji out of a demon's hands.
