あさドラ！

In 1959 Nagoya, twelve-year-old Asa Asada runs out into the wind to find a doctor for her mother's difficult childbirth. A burglar named Haruo Kasuga grabs her, having mistaken her for the doctor's own child, and Typhoon Vera hits while he is holding her. Kasuga turns out to be a former wartime pilot, and the two come out of the flood working side by side, running food to survivors in a stolen plane. Asa's story then reaches across the decades toward a 2020 in which a giant creature is tearing through Tokyo.
