Hotaru Tachibana is a high schooler with a blazing sense of justice who is constantly taken for a boy. She marches into a host club to confront the man who swindled a classmate and finds that the con artist is her new neighbor, Masamune Matsuoka. He settles the argument with toy guns instead of fists, beats her badly, and the loss lands her in the world of survival games. She joins his Toy Gun Gun team, whose target is the national TGC tournament, with instincts and speed that outrun her hopeless aim.
