Hinako Uno fills her life with makeup, fashion, and dating men, convinced that performing a 'normal' romance is what will make her fit in with everyone around her. Every relationship falls flat, and she starts to fear she will end up alone. Then she grows close to Asahi Sato, a level-headed coworker, and what begins as plain respect slowly turns into something more intimate that doesn't match the script Hinako had been forcing on herself.
