On the night of the Tanabata festival, Yukino crosses paths with Ryuu, a blunt transfer student newly arrived from England, and the two are drawn to each other on sight. Ryuu announces that Yukino will be his, which throws a girl who has never been in love completely off balance. Once he turns up at her school, Yukino has to make sense of his sudden, forceful affection and of feelings she has no experience reading.
