Yusuke Serizawa wakes in a hospital bed after crashing his scooter, distracted in the moment by a face he recognized. The woman who called for help refuses to give her name, leaving only the sense that she is someone from his past he once loved and may have wronged. To find her, Yusuke retraces the girls he dated and hurt across his school and adult years, sorting through which old relationship his rescuer belongs to.
