Transfer student Ryuko Matoi arrives at Honnouji Academy hunting the person who killed her father and left her holding half a giant scissor-blade, and clashes at once with the school's iron-willed student council president, Satsuki Kiryuin. Honnouji runs on Goku Uniforms sewn from Life Fibers, until Ryuko bonds with Senketsu, a sentient sailor uniform that finally gives her something to fight back with. This manga retells Trigger's anime, illustrated by Ryo Akizuki.
