Mei Sengoku captains the girls' kendo team and is known around school as its resident samurai, single-mindedly chasing strength. When Shiro Fuji, the soft-spoken boy nicknamed the school's 'girly guy,' confesses to her, she brushes it off as a distraction. After Shiro steps in to protect her from danger, Mei starts wanting to understand him better, hoping he can show her where her own weaknesses lie, and an odd friendship grows between them.
