Momo Adachi, a former swim-team member whose tanned skin and bleached hair lead classmates to brand her an "easy girl," pines for the quiet baseball player Toji. Her closest friend Sae secretly feeds the rumors out of jealousy and sets her own sights on Toji. Then Kairi Okayasu, a wise-cracking playboy, decides to win Momo over, insisting she once saved him from drowning years earlier. Momo is left caught between the boy she likes, the friend who undermines her, and the suitor who won't back off.
