Death Note is a 2006 anime series adaptation of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's manga. When high school student Light Yagami discovers a supernatural notebook that can kill anyone whose name is written in it, he sets out to remake the world in his own vision of justice, while a genius detective called L pursues him. What follows is a tense cat-and-mouse battle where morality is blurred and power corrupts.
