DEATH NOTE

High school prodigy Light Yagami finds a supernatural notebook dropped by the shinigami Ryuk: any person whose name is written in its pages dies. Light begins executing criminals worldwide under the alias Kira, aiming to reshape the world into a crime-free utopia with himself as its god. The mysterious detective L takes the case, and a lethal battle of wits begins between two geniuses, one hiding behind a notebook and the other behind a false name.
