Sudou, the handsome son of a wealthy family, has coasted through university until he fixates on Kishi, a quiet student from his seminar. Unable to explain the pull even to himself, Sudou needles and bullies the perpetually blank-faced Kishi just to wring some reaction out of him. The harder he pushes for an expression he has never managed to provoke, the less the two of them look like a bully and his target.
