Motochika Narasaki, the eldest in a loud household crowded with younger brothers, has nowhere quiet to himself. When a teacher presses him into watching the school library after hours, he reluctantly agrees, expecting solitude. Instead he finds Natsuki Terashima, the school's notorious delinquent, saddled with the same duty. Convinced they have nothing in common, Narasaki settles in across the desk from him as the slow shifts at the library begin.
