Synopsis
Gon Freecss, a boy raised on a remote island, discovers that his absent father Ging is a legendary Hunter — an elite licensed professional who tracks rare creatures, uncovers treasure, and explores uncharted lands. Determined to find Ging, Gon enters the brutal Hunter Exam, where he befriends three other candidates: Kurapika, the sole survivor of the Kurta clan hunting the Phantom Troupe that massacred his people; Leorio, an aspiring doctor funding his studies; and Killua Zoldyck, a former assassin heir who left his family to forge his own path.
