Gorou Sagami works in sales at Shounan Rubber Industries, a condom manufacturer, and has quietly fallen for Musubu Kondou, a researcher in the company's integrated development department. Musubu spends her days and nights on new products with total, unembarrassed focus, which leaves her barely registering that Sagami feels anything at all. The two settle into an awkward office routine built around whatever she happens to be testing in the lab.
