Spring break at the end of her first year of high school upends everything for Ito: her mother remarries, the household moves, and she becomes Ito Narita, the new eldest sibling over four younger stepbrothers named Gen, Raku, Shu, and Rui. Gen, the oldest of them, meets her with a cool distance that keeps slipping to show something kinder underneath, and Ito sets about winning over a loud house she never asked for.
