Yuuki Uehara thinks he has drawn the perfect rom-com heroine, bashful and sweet and utterly chaste, until an editor at his dream publisher calls the whole thing trite and short on realism. Reeling, he lands in the path of classmate Niina Miyamoto, a bright, gorgeous aspiring artist who took the same note on her own manga and proposes they fake-date so both of them finally learn what romance feels like. Neither fits the other's ideal.
