Your Lie in April

四月は君の嘘

Kousei Arima, a piano prodigy who dominated junior competitions, hasn't played since his mother's death left him unable to hear the notes from his own keyboard. When his friend Ryouta Watari introduces him to violinist Kaori Miyazono — who tosses out her sheet music mid-performance and improvises over the score — she pushes Kousei to return to the stage he abandoned two years ago, with childhood friend Tsubaki Sawabe watching the transformation up close.
