Norito Yonezawa is a low-energy high-schooler who barely registers the world around him, except that he cannot stop watching his classmate Hochiya. She is everything he is not: a free-spirited gyaru who eats whatever she wants, whenever she wants, entirely unbothered by anyone's opinion. Against his own better judgment he keeps looking, and the gap between them keeps pulling him in.
