Karasuno High, fresh off their win over Nekoma, moves on to face Kamomedai High in the volleyball nationals quarterfinal. Shouyou Hinata finds himself across the net from Kamomedai's ace Kourai Hoshiumi, a player who carries the same Little Giant nickname Hinata does and forces him to reckon with what that title actually means. This film continues directly from Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle, adapting the manga's Kamomedai match.
