Utena Hiiragi has idolized the magical girl trio Tres Magia since she was a kid, so when the mascot Venalita tricks her into becoming the villain leader of the evil organization Enormeeta, she ends up fighting the very heroes she admires. This second season keeps Utena directing Enormeeta's schemes against Tres Magia, hiding how much she still adores them and unable to shake her fangirl instincts even as she plays the part of their sworn enemy.
