Synopsis
Anne Halford and the warrior fairy Challe, whom she calls Shar, are already married and running a sugar candy shop together when this story opens, years after Anne bought him as her bodyguard in the original Sugar Apple Fairy Tale. She is still making the silver sugar candy believed to bring good fortune when she is pressed into service as a negotiator for the sugar apple harvest, and the job drags the couple into the politics around the fruit their shop depends on.
