Belle Lablac, the only human in a world of animal-people, is still recovering from her battle with her former companion Adonis Question when this season opens. She returns to her allies to back Guinness's push to have King Rawhide declare the Catacombs neutral ground, while Adonis, now aligned with the kingdom's darker forces, moves against them. This second season picks up directly after Belle's first clash with Adonis.
