Tatsuhiko gave up his childhood dream of becoming an animator after a classmate called his drawings disgusting, and later walked away from music too when his band went nowhere. Now a cynical college student, he is called out on that cynicism by a drunk stranger in the street, and the encounter pushes him into uploading a two-minute animation online. When singer-songwriter Nico Kashiwagi asks him to animate the video for her next song, Tatsuhiko is stunned to recognize the woman from that night, who seems not to remember him at all.
