Zhou Mingrui wakes up in the body of Klein Moretti, a fortune-teller in a gaslit, Victorian-styled world laced with curses, potions, and secret orders, and starts using tarot readings as cover while he tries to survive with borrowed memories. These specials sit inside the Tarot Club's earliest missions, following Klein as he presides over a new prayer request and summons Derrick Berg from the City of Silver to help handle it. They fill in side cases from before the club's larger investigations begin.
