Identical twins Migi and Dali share a single identity: Hitori, the boy an older couple take in when they are allowed to adopt only one child. Swapping places without the Sonoyamas ever noticing, the brothers settle into Origon Village, a town built in the image of 1990s American suburbia, and quietly work their way toward the person who murdered their mother years earlier.
