Synopsis
Monogatari Series: Off Season collects four novels that hand the narration to the people around Koyomi Araragi. Orokamonogatari gathers short pieces centered on Sodachi Oikura, Suruga Kanbaru and Tsukihi Araragi; Wazamonogatari turns to Karen Araragi, Tsubasa Hanekawa and Shinobu's distant past; Nademonogatari picks up Nadeko Sengoku after she starts drawing manga. Musubimonogatari then brings Koyomi back at twenty-three, now a civil servant handling oddity cases for the department Izuko Gaen set up, across four self-contained investigations.
