A party leader decides Raust isn't pulling his weight as a healer and cuts him loose without a second thought, so Raust sets out to find people willing to give him another shot. Martial artist Narsena takes him on, and only once they're already fighting together does she learn what Raust never told his old party: he heals so-so, but he fights like a monster.
