Synopsis
Naofumi Iwatani, an otaku college student, is summoned to another world as the Shield Hero — one of four Cardinal Heroes armed with legendary weapons. While the Sword, Spear, and Bow Heroes gain allies and funding from the kingdom of Melromarc, Naofumi is framed for a crime by his sole companion, Princess Malty, and cast out with nothing. Stripped of trust and resources, he purchases a demi-human slave girl named Raphtalia and begins rebuilding from zero, fighting the interdimensional Waves of Calamity that threaten the world.
