わたしが恋人になれるわけないじゃん、ムリムリ! (※ムリじゃなかった!?)

Renako Amaori is an awkward introvert determined to reinvent herself at the start of high school, and her sudden closeness with Mai Ouzuka, a wealthy fashion model who is her opposite in every way, looks like the reinvention working. Then Mai confesses. Renako wants to stay just friends; Mai insists they're meant to be a couple, and classmates like Ajisai Sena start taking an interest in Renako too, right as she's trying to keep things simple. The manga adaptation follows this original light novel.
