Synopsis
Akane Tsunemori joins the Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division as a rookie Inspector, overseeing a team of Enforcers — latent criminals licensed to hunt their own kind. In a future Japan governed by the Sibyl System, every citizen's mental state is continuously scanned and quantified as a Psycho-Pass; anyone whose Crime Coefficient rises past the threshold can be detained or killed on the spot. Akane's most dangerous Enforcer, Shinya Kogami, is fixated on tracking down Shogo Makishima, a serial criminal whose Psycho-Pass somehow stays clean no matter what he does.
