Bounty hunter Spike Spiegel and the Bebop crew take a job tracking down a client's doppelganger, but the gig collapses and lands Spike on the police's most-wanted list instead. Mistaken identities and double-crosses pile up, the hunters become the hunted, and the crew is dragged into space-mafia business with Scorpion, the teenage boss of the Dragon Head family. Published before the anime, this manga tells an alternate version of the Cowboy Bebop story with its own continuity.
