Synopsis
This novelization retells the TV anime entirely from Madoka Kaname's point of view: an ordinary eighth-grader at Mitakihara Middle School who doubts herself more than her friends realize. Her routine bends off course when a small white creature called Kyubey offers her a single wish in exchange for becoming a magical girl, a bargain her upperclassman Mami Tomoe already lives with. Told closer to Madoka's own perspective than the anime's ensemble view, the novel follows the same opening choice she is about to face.
