Synopsis
Set in 1978, years before Fate/Zero's Fourth Holy Grail War, this side story follows a young Kiritsugu Emiya working as a hired killer alongside his mentor, Natalia Kaminski. The two track a rogue magus, Heinrich Zepter, to an isolated American village called Present Mountain, where nothing about the residents is quite what it seems. Published in the 2008 Fate/Zero Tribute Arts art book, it fills in Kiritsugu's apprenticeship years before he becomes the mercenary the main series opens with.
