Synopsis
Shiroe wakes up trapped inside the MMORPG Elder Tale alongside roughly 30,000 other Japanese players after a mysterious update locks everyone out of logging off. Death now means an in-game respawn rather than real danger, food has lost all its taste, and panic spreads fast through the playerbase. While most players spiral into despair, Shiroe starts piecing together what actually happened, with fellow adventurers Naotsugu and the assassin Akatsuki forming his core party. Illustrator Kazuhiro Hara's manga adapts the light novel's opening arc.
