Synopsis
The Republic of San Magnolia claims its war against the Empire's autonomous Legion drones is costing zero lives, fought entirely by unmanned weapons, but beyond the border lies the segregated Eighty-Sixth Sector, where young people stripped of citizenship and branded '86' pilot those machines and die in them anyway. Handler Vladilena Milizé is assigned to a squadron led by Shinei Nouzen, and as she gets to know the soldiers her country pretends don't exist, the war's real cost starts to surface.
