Synopsis
A restless Normal Cell, tired of routine patrols and needled by the neighborhood's short-tempered Killer T Cells, strikes up an odd friendship with a hooded stranger who won't say a word. The two spend the day pulling pranks around the body, until the stranger's hat turns out to be a replicating Rhinovirus about to infect him. Immune cells scramble in just in time to clear the infection, then use the incident to drill the Normal Cell on how to spot pathogens before they cause trouble. This is a bonus special bundled with the TV anime's home release, not required to follow the main story.
