Synopsis
In 2045, with governments waging endless proxy wars just to keep their economies running, Major Motoko Kusanagi leads the mercenary unit GHOST on jobs far from her old post at Public Security Section 9. A routine assignment to track down an arms dealer instead pulls the team into a hidden conflict against "post-humans," cybernetically enhanced people with abilities beyond anything GHOST has faced. As the post-humans' emergence threatens to spiral into chaos, Kusanagi finds herself drawn back toward Section 9 to contain the fallout. This 3DCG series continues the Stand Alone Complex continuity.
