Synopsis
Hinata Miyakawa spends every yen she has on otaku merchandise, which leaves her and her younger sister Hikage scraping by on whatever's left in the fridge. This Lucky Star spin-off follows the two sisters through their threadbare household, where Hinata's latest impulse buy sets off the week's food crisis and Hikage tries to get through elementary school without her home life catching up to her. The shorts stay grounded in the sisters' daily grind rather than the everyday school comedy of the parent series, trading Konata's otaku enthusiasm for the more literal cost of living it.
