Ristarte, a rookie goddess handed the job of saving Gaeabrande, a world so dangerous it is rated S-difficulty, summons Seiya Ryuuguuin as her chosen hero because his combat stats are the best she has ever seen. What the stat sheet does not show is his obsession with preparation: buying spare armor for his spare armor, going all out against the weakest enemies just in case, and refusing to act without absurd margins of safety. Told largely from Ristarte's exasperated point of view, the novels follow their mismatched partnership as Seiya's paranoia keeps proving more useful than it has any right to be.
