Jimmy, Marina, and Vincent, three young Trainers from New Bark Town, cross paths just as the Team Rocket agents Attila and Hun hunt for the legendary Pokémon Raikou using a device called the Crystal System that draws in Electric-types. When the system pulls Raikou into the open, the trio gets caught in the scramble to keep the legendary Pokémon out of Team Rocket's hands. This three-part TV special later aired abroad as the opening episodes of Pokémon Chronicles.
