Akihisa Yoshii is stuck in Class F, the lowest tier at an academy that ranks students by entrance-exam scores down to their classroom furniture. To win back better facilities, Class F challenges higher-ranked classes to Summoning battles, where each student's avatar draws its combat power straight from their grades. Yoshii rallies his underdog classmates, including Mizuki Himeji, who tests poorly only because she was ill on exam day, to prove that class rank doesn't decide who wins.
