Synopsis
High schooler Ayumu Aikawa is murdered by a serial killer and revived as a zombie by the necromancer Eucliwood Hellscythe, who keeps him around as a servant and bodyguard. When he absorbs the powers of the magical girl Haruna during a chance encounter, he's stuck fighting supernatural threats called Megalo in her place, chainsaw and costume included. This light novel is the original source for the manga adaptations and two anime seasons, following Ayumu's household as more supernatural women move in around him.
