In this short Vampire Knight special, Hanabusa Aidou stirs up a mock election for Moon Dormitory president, pressuring the Night Class to pick a side between candidates Takuma Ichijou and Kaname Kuran. Kaname's total indifference to the whole contest only makes Aidou's campaigning harder, turning the vote into a running gag rather than a real contest. At barely three minutes, the special plays the main cast's dynamic for comedy rather than continuing the series' vampire-hunter plot.
