In the near future, psychotherapist Atsuko Chiba treats patients under a secret alter ego named Paprika, using an experimental device called the DC Mini to enter their dreams directly. When a prototype DC Mini goes missing from her research institute, Chiba must track down whoever stole it before they use it to unravel a sleeping mind from the inside. This manga adapts the 1993 novel Paprika.
